The Commercial Litigation Department has a large and experienced team of lawyers in all offices who are committed to assisting clients in resolving their disputes.

We recognise that alternative means to settle disputes have to be considered before resorting to the court. In this respect the department is experienced in ADR and mediation and will utilise these methods to resolve disputes to the satisfaction of its clients. Nevertheless, where commercially appropriate we have no hesitation in resorting to litigation to achieve the client's objective and will pursue such litigation with enthusiasm, aggression and drive.

We also advise clients on dispute avoidance and risk management and have developed "Protect" a series of bespoke risk management products. Our approach is to work with clients to identify and mitigate areas of risk.
