Halliwells Keeps Clients In The Know

Law firm Halliwells has launched a series of free training sessions exclusively for its clients, in recognition of the need to add value to its services.

The sessions have been introduced to help support some of the industries leading financial institutions. Companies including RBS, Nationwide Building Society, Alliance and Leicester and Newcastle Building Society have already signed up.

The topics covered are designed to provide a better understanding of the range of issues which may be encountered by banks' lawyers in the course of a transaction.

Numerous sessions have been presented at clients' offices as well as at the firm's new headquarters at Spinningfields Manchester. The initiative is being coordinated by property finance partner Margaret Norton.

Said George MacMillan, partner at Halliwells:

"The aim is to literally go back to basics and help fill in gaps in knowledge for industry professionals. In a market that is constantly developing, it is vital that our clients are kept up-to-date on any relevant changes."

The training sessions are intended to be fairly informal and offer a good opportunity to meet the team. Clients will be encouraged to participate within the group and discuss any questions or queries they may have.
