Halliwells Advises Manchester Technology Firm

Law firm Halliwells has advised the shareholders of Touchstar Technologies Ltd on the sale of the entire issued share capital to Belgravium Technologies PLC at a value of £10,750,000.

Touchstar is a manufacturer and distributor of hand-held mobile computing devices to the niche markets of fuel distribution, van sales and the airline industry. The acquisition will provide Touchstar with an opportunity for revenue growth.

The Halliwells team included of a number of partners from practice areas across the firm including Corporate, Real Estate, Tax and Intellectual Property, Commerce and Technology.

The team was led by corporate partners Sophie Brookes and Rebecca Grisewood.

Commenting on the transaction Sophie Brookes said:
